Otten Johnson represents Cypress Real Estate Advisors (Cypress) in connection with its development efforts at Denargo Market; a 29 acre, urban in-fill site near downtown Denver, Colorado. Our lawyers have assisted Cypress with multiple aspects of this project, including land acquisition, entitlement, including zoning, subdivision and general development plan approvals, and other related development and land use issues. Cypress began the first phase of construction in Denargo Market in December 2011 with a 301-unit apartment building, which has been completed. The second phase of the project is under way. Through careful planning, Cypress has envisioned a comprehensive multi-use development that anchors the north end of Broadway Boulevard and provides a significant facelift to the Platte River frontage in the area, while helping to fulfill Denver’s vision for the River North or “RiNo” area.
